Can I pick my car up from Cairns Airport?

Yes, just call us on 4053 1016 as soon as you have collected your bags and are ready to travel and we will come and pick you up.

Are there any age restrictions?

You must be at least 21 years old, with a full open drivers licence.  There is a $10 p/day surcharge for drivers under the age of 23.

Do I need a credit card to hire a car ?

Yes.

Can I extend the car rental duration?

Extending the car rental duration is possible during the rental itself, subject to vehicle availability.  You will need to make contact, or come in person, as it must be payed in advance.

How far can I go in the car?

- You have unlimited Km's with rentals of 3 days or more. We offer 200 free kms for rentals of 1 or 2 days and any extra is charged at $0.25/ km. You  must stay on sealed roads, within our specified area. 

Our 'Budget' vehicles can go as far North as Cape Tribulation, South as far as Mission Beach, and inland to the Atherton Tablelands.  All other vehicles can, upon prior arrangement, go further (Cooktown on the inland sealed road and  to Townsville) but must be hired for 3 days or more.

Does the price include insurance?

- Yes, you have standard CTP with all vehicles.  As with most insurances, there is an excess involved.  This is $2,750, and it can be reduced to $385 for just $16 p/day.  We recommend all customers take advantage of the Damage Waiver, as accidents can happen.  It gives you peace of mind in the knowledge that many of the drivers in Queensland are not familiar with the roads or regulations.

NB. In our multi-seaters the excess is $3,300, and reduces to $385 for just $22 p/day.

What are your opening hours?

- We are open from 8:00 to 17:30 on weekdays, and from 9:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Can I collect a car after office hours?

- Yes we have a 24 hour vehicle collection system.  By prior arrangement, we can leave your car out for you and put the keys in the safe which you can access at any time.

Do I need to refuel the car on return?

-Yes.  We ask that you return the car with the same fuel as it left with.  We endeavour to keep all our vehicles full of fuel, and have a charge for any shortfall.
